When disaster strikes...the Red Cross is ready
Nobody knows when or where a major disaster will strike. But when it does, help from the Red Cross will be there. The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters. They supply about 40% of the national blood supply, teach skills that save lives, provide international humanitarian aid, and support military members and their families. The Red Cross is a not-for-profit organization that depends upon volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.
Ruth Martens, who is serving as a board member of the American Red Cross serving Southwest Minnesota and a disaster volunteer, is sharing the Red Cross story at the next Women's Connect. We're inviting you to learn more about this great organization and opportunities for you to assist them. Join us at the Marshall Golf Course June 14.
Please RSVP by Tuesday, June 12th.
**Please note that if you cancel less than 24 hours prior to the event, you will still be responsible to pay your $10.**
