The Workforce Development Series is a three-part series focused on helping businesses, educators, and future professionals build stronger workforce connections in the Marshall area. Through conversations centered around internships, student experiences, and apprenticeship opportunities, this series will explore practical ways organizations can attract, develop, and retain future talent.
Our panel will bring together individuals from local businesses, industry, and education who have experience with apprenticeship programs, workforce training, and developing future talent. Each panelist will offer a unique perspective on how hands-on learning and partnerships between employers and educators can help prepare individuals for successful careers.
Through their experiences and insights, panelists will help attendees better understand the different types of apprenticeship opportunities available, how these programs can benefit both employers and employees, and how businesses can play an active role in strengthening our local workforce.
Part 3: Apprenticeships
Complete the series with a conversation focused on apprenticeship opportunities and workforce training models.
Hear from local education and industry professionals about both traditional and emerging apprenticeship programs and how organizations can utilize hands-on training models to build stronger workforce pipelines.
Discussion Topics
• Traditional apprenticeship programs
• New and emerging apprenticeship models
