POSITION AVAILABLE:  LPN/Health Paraprofessional
 
POSITION LOCATION:  Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC), with placement at the ELC – Marshall. This program is currently located in Belview, MN and will be re-locating to Marshall, MN beginning with the 2024-2025 school year. 
 
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:  Under the direction of the Site Administrator and School Nurse, the LPN/Health Paraprofessional is responsible for providing skilled nursing services, delegated nursing treatments, health education, evaluation, health screening services, medication administration, and the maintenance of health records within the building of assignment and in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
 
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with a degree in Nursing; minimum of 2 years nursing experience and working with students with multiple handicaps preferred.  Current CPR and First Aid Certification required.  Valid driver’s license required.
 
SALARY:  This is a full-time position beginning with the 2024-2025 school year.  Beginning at $26.00/hour and up - dependent on education, qualifications, and experience.
