Distribution Center Receiving Supervisor

Runnings has a career opportunity for a Distribution Center Receiving Supervisor at our distribution center in Marshall, MN.  We are looking for an energetic, team-oriented and dedicated individual who can work in a fast- paced environment.    
Prior Work Experience - Education Required:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years warehouse experience required.
• 2 years management experience preferred.
• OSHA safety training preferred.

• Controls costs through productivity of personnel, efficient utilization of storage space, and proper protection of stored materials.
• Responsible for enforcing Company policies of conduct and safety and initiates corrective action where necessary.
• Develops and maintains relationships with freight carriers to ensure on-time deliveries into the Distribution Center.
• Identifies the causes of product losses and takes appropriate corrective action.
• Analyzes current procedures and new ideas to continuously improve productivity and efficiencies.
• Interview, develop, train, and motivate staff.
• Monitors employees to ensure accuracy, attendance, and performance standards are met.
• General building and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure product is properly received, stored, and ready to ship in a timely manner.
• Work directly with the Distribution Center Manager to effectively carry out all duties.
• Ensures staff comply with all safety measures and addresses safety concerns.
• Intermittent 2^nd shift hours required.
• Some travel to off site visits required.
• All other duties as assigned.
