Job Summary

  • The Dietitian is responsible for providing clinical nutritional care to clients within an assigned area, including and not limited to: hospital, nursing home, clinics, dialysis, cancer center, and managed sites.
  • This position is also responsible for establishing nutrition programs that are evidenced based in accordance to the department serviced.  
  • Provide professional and compassionate customer service following Avera CARE standards!

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Dietetics from an accredited institution with a major in Food and Nutrition.
  • Completion of a dietetic internship or equivalent program as approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • One year of experience is preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) in the State of Minnesota. 
  • Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification is desirable.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive to consulting sites as assigned.

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 64 hours every 2 weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $26.25 - $ 39.50 per hour
